Project Abstract

Implications for the insurance industry: Our approach to this topic was to first outline likely connected and automated vehicle deployment scenarios, then to identify prospective implications to the insurance industry with respect both to individual automotive insurance and product liability insurance. Specifically, we considered potential changes in the market for insurance and regulatory regimes, based on our knowledge of both and discussions with relevant stakeholders, including members of the Legal Working Group.

Project Outcome

Dykema will publish a white paper on insurance and risk management.
