Project Abstract
The objective was to conduct a comprehensive survey of the legal and regulatory issues posed by automated vehicle (AV) technologies with input from academic and industry leaders. Topics surveyed included liability, insurance, privacy, intellectual property rights, antitrust implications of standardization, and others that were identified in the course of the project.
